Join us on Thursday, March 26, at the County Administration Building located at 21 Reeve St., Woodstock, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for an information session on running for municipal council.
2026 Municipal Elections
Municipal Elections in Ontario are held every four years and are governed by the Municipal Elections Act. The next municipal election will be held on Monday October 26, 2026. The new term of Council begins November 17, 2026.
General Election Information
The Township of Norwich elects candidates to the positions of:

Information Session for Youth Considering Running for Municipal Office
If you are a youth interested in running for municipal council in October 2026, we have a workshop for you! The Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) is offering a series of workshops for young people thinking about running for municipal office in the October 2026 elections.
